To family, friends, brother and sister in Christ. The Verse of the day is from the OT book Deuteronomy

Deuteronomy 7:9 Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.

Read Deuteronomy 7:1-11 it talks about the chosen people.

When we become a child of God we are set apart as the chosen one. As we see here that we see clearly some people were seat apart from following God. The children of God will love Him and keep His commandments. Our God is a faithful God who keeps His covenant and mercy to the one that love Him.

It funny so many people today including me expect to be bless by God but yet we don’t follow his commandments. It is actually pretty simple all we have to do is what he asks us to do to receive His blessing. However for me because of my pride and many other issue in my life God can’t bless me until I clean out my house and become pure. A lot of us are in bondage in sin in the world way of life which keeps us unclean. Our God is a jealous God He wants us all to himself. He doesn’t want to share you.

My prayer is that we evaluate ourselves including myself and do a heart check to see how we are doing in following God commandments. If you are like me I am not doing too well at it. I often wonder why I am not being blessed like other well it might be the way I am walking in Christ. So take a hard look at ourselves and allow God, the Holy Spirit reveal what trash we need to take to become pure and bless. I ask these things in Jesus name Amen.
