Welcome to Gateway to Heaven Ministries.

We are a Christ Centered Spiritual Healing Retreat for Veterans, 1st Responders, Faith Leaders, and their Families.

What to expect at Retreat

When you arrive to the retreat
We will gather in the Fellowship Hall and the Retreat Director will welcome you. We will start this retreat with prayer and give you the retreat rules and guidance of how the camp is laid out, when chow is, and the rules while here.
Let the Teams Unite
Before you arrived we have had people praying over you, now is the time to find out what team you will be assigned too. The teams are Healing, Freedom, Forgiveness and Hope. Each team will use these themes during our search as Seekers for Christ.
Okay, so we are now in teams, now what?
After the teams assemble at their themes table, and get to know each other, you will be asked to tell us all one truth about yourself and 2 things that are not true. As seekers we must seek the truth in all we do. As Brothers in Christ we stand and have a fun time telling others what is on our brother's card as we introduce our brother to the group.
Chow Time
Our meals are part of the fellowship experience and we encourage everyone to not sit with the same team your assigned to and to enjoy each others stories over a meal.
I want you to know Christ.
After chow, we receive the Word from the first Testimony. Testimonies are normally given by the staff or guest speakers or team leaders. The link below is an example of what you can expect

The Team activity
After each speaker the teams are given time to find bible verses that relate to the speakers testimony. The verses are used to create "God's Armor Pieces, " Skits, Raps, Music videos, As Seen on TV commercials and anything else that we see the Seekers are enjoying doing while learning about the Word of God.
Project Points Awarded
Of course anything with teams and competition has to be judged and points awarded to those teams, will your team be in the lead?
The Nightly Camp fire
We encourage people to rest and cabins are not assigned by those who snore or even by team, but if you find yourself up for some fireside chat with a fellow Seeker the camp fire will be your spot.

You did remember to sleep right? You have a full day of Seeking to do ARISE!

What if God looked inside His army and saw Veterans, First Responders, Faith Leaders and their support hurting and in need of healing?

What if God chose you asked you trusted you to help His army?

Will you stop running and answer the call?
