Verse of the Day

To family, friends, brother and sister in Christ. The verse of the day comes from the NT book of John.

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Read John 4:7-15 and 28-30 talks about the Samaritan Women meets Her Messiah

This verse gives ever Christian that accepted Jesus as Lord and Savor in their life HOPE! We see hear that Jesus take an opportunity to share with a Samaritan women about salvation through a story of living water. Interesting thing is that Jesus who was a Jew and Jewish people did not deal with the Samaritan, mater a fact they would go out of their way so they won’t have to deal with them. However, in Jesus case there was a compelling necessity in His mission for self-revelation and love for other. Just as Jesus was compelled to share we should be compelled to share Christ with other. Jesus share with her about the living water and if she received it she would never thirsts again. Then Jesus explained to the women He is the Messiah call Christ. He made it easy for her to admit failure by promising her a better way of life where she could enjoy His forgiveness.

As members of Christ’s body here on earth, we should not fear admitting our wrongs but welcome it as an opportunity to experience and rejoice in the forgiveness of God. We can’t put our sin behind us until we are ready to face them.

My prayer is this would be and encouragement to other. I humbly admit that I still battle with sin but with God grace and mercy he will change me as I seek and learn more about Him. Someone out there is struggling with the same issue be encourage. Know if you are struggling God is working in you to make us better everyday.

Have a bless day! What better time to share Jesus then over this Holiday Season. From Gateway to Heaven Ministries
