Happy 4th of July / Independence Day

So, what does Independence Day mean to you?

For me Independence Day means, our flag stands tall and proud, hot dogs, watermelon, ice cream, fireworks, freedom, independent, self-reliance and most important have the freedom to praise our God unconditionally any place and anywhere in our country.

So, with that I want to thank our forefathers for being in God’s Word and having the wisdom to ensure this in the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. I want to thank all the men and women that given their lives, for the ones that served in our military and to the ones that are serving now in our military to protect our freedom here in America.

As we notice our country steering off course and starting to fall away from God’s Word, we also note that we are still the Greatest Nation in the world.

So how do we get our Nation going back in the right direction? A gentlemen name Edmund Burke quoted “All that’s necessary for force of evil to win in the world is for enough good men to do nothing.”

We are at a turning point in America. Evil is becoming more and more prevent because of many reasons. However, the good men and women need to get back into God’s Word and stand up for God’s design and order as written in His Word.

My prayer is that when you read this it will light a fire deep in your soul to make changes in our home, community, nation, and the world. Our children and grandchildren are depending on us. We are in a battle and a battle that we need to win. Even though Jesus has already won the final battle for us believers in Christ by giving His life at the cross, we need to do our part to keep our freedom alive and well.

A quote by George Bernard Shaw states “in a battle, all you need to make you fight is a little hot blood and the knowledge that it’s more dangerous to lose than to win!” So, I ask that we stand up and fight with God’s Word as our defense or one day we won’t have this day to celebrate. Have a blessed day. GTH Team.
